Eclipse Aerospace, Inc. celebrates a major production milestone - the first power up of the new production Eclipse 550 Twin-Engine Jet. Thefirst production Eclipse 550 aircraft successfully powered up its two Pratt & Whitney PW610F engines, and the aircraft systems came on line today at the company's facility in Albuquerque, N.M.

Albuquerque, NM, January 7, 2013- Eclipse Aerospace responded today to the U.S. Air Force's Request for Information (RFI) for a large fleet of Very Light Jets (VLJ) to support their Specialized Undergraduate Pilot Training (SUPT) Multi-place Training Track. Eclipse Aerospace's proposed solution could save 13 million gallons of jet fuel per year.

Company associates show support for U.S. service members serving overseas

The company shipped 500 care packages to North Carolina-based troops on active duty in Afghanistan and Kuwait as part of the company-wide effort.
